Synecdoche, New York
For Synecdoche, New York, visual effects were used to expand the film’s surreal, self-referential world by integrating entire environments within a massive warehouse interior. Through compositing and matte painting extensions, the vfx work combined the constructed spaces and reality, supporting the film’s layered exploration of scale, performance, and perception.
